Reflective SupervisionA Planning Tool for Home Visiting Supervisors
This report, "Reflective Supervision: A Planning Tool for Home Visiting Supervisors" (OPRE Report 2022-138), offers a comprehensive framework to enhance home visiting programs through reflective supervision. It introduces a conceptual model with five key elements and provides a practical tool for supervisors to tailor their approach based on individual and contextual needs. The tool guides supervisors through planning, conducting, and revisiting sessions to support home visitors' professional development and well-being. Prepared by experts from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, this resource aims to improve the quality and outcomes of home visiting services.
"Child Find" is the affirmative, ongoing obligation of states and local districts to identify, locate, and evaluate all children with disabilities residing within the jurisdiction who are in need of special education and related services.
